Length: Short Term (Summer): 12 days - June-August — Short Term (Fall): 4 weeks (for fall 2024—3 weeks) - September-October — Long Term (Winter) “Salad Days”: 6 months - September-March
Housing: Various housing options provided: double occupancy bedrooms or single occupancy bedrooms. Large community kitchen and lounge space next to dorm-like housing buildings. Shared bath house. — Long term residents have private living space priority
Kilns: 6 electric kilns, 18 cubic feet salt/soda downdraft kiln, 18 cubic feet bailey downdraft kiln, 55 cubic feet car downdraft kiln, 7.5 cubic feet Olympic 23 raku kiln, 45 cubic feet train kiln, and a 48 cubic feet wood/salt/soda catenary kiln
Expenses: Short term: $1350 room and board fee includes housing and all meals - $700-$1600 dependent on housing. Firing and materials at cost. — Long term: no fees
Funding/Stipend: Short term: Scholarships available — Long term “Salad Days”: $4000 meal stipend, free material and firing
Workspace: Open-concept studio
Responsibilities: Short term: None — Long term “Salad Days”: Produce 500 plates for watershed’s annual fundraiser event

Additional Opportunities:
Immersed in nature with walking trails and nearby rivers and ocean beaches
Short term: Uninterrupted time in the studio to work on independent or collaborative projects and access to watershed’s facilities
