Location: Columbia, MO
Length: Long Term: 1 year - start in summer
Housing: Both live-in with shared living space (furnished 3 bed, 1 bath house with kitchen and living room) and non-live-in residencies available
Kilns: 4 electric kilns, New Olson cone 10 gas reduction kiln, 1 soda kiln, 1 Anagama wood kiln and 1 raku kiln (must fire mid-high fire)
Expenses: Materials and firing
Funding/Stipend:
200 ibs of clay/month
One free bisque firing and one glaze firing
Free glaze materials provided
Any classes can be taken for free in any media if space allows
Non-live-in residents: A stipend of $100/month — Live-in residents: A stipend of $200/month
Workspace: Shared or private studio space
Responsibilities: Non-live-in residents: 9.5 hours/week of studio maintenance work — Live-in residents: 15-16 hours/week of studio maintenance work — As a teaching intensive residency: 10-15 hours/week of service toward Access Arts in the form of education, outreach, workshops and maintenance
Number of Residents: 3 live-in residents — 2 non-live-in residents
