Location: Rabun Gap, GA

Length: Short Term - 2-8 weeks long — Residents arrive on Tuesday and depart on Sunday. Residencies of one week are available to Arts & Culture Administrator applicants only. Eight-week residencies will only be scheduled in the Fall and Spring Sessions. The maximum length of residencies awarded in Summer Session is four weeks

Housing: Private, furnished living space

Kilns: 5 electric kilns, 2 gas kiln, 1 raku kiln and 1 Anagama wood fire kiln

Expenses: $250/week fee

Funding/Stipend: Varied fellowships available, scholarships $250-$500 offered, and $700 stipend available for 2 week residencies, and financial aid up to 35% upon inquiry. Free firings except woodfiring ($125 woodfiring fee)

Workspace: Private studio space

Responsibilities: Attendance of resident dinners Tuesdays-Fridays and strong dedication to personal studio practice

Number of Residents: up to 8

  • Property is 600 acres - Nature trails, meadows, waterfalls, swimming hole, rustic and secluded forest setting (no internet in studios and no cell service on property)
