Length: Short Term: 6 Week Residency (June-beginning of August) — 2 Week Residency (August)

Housing: 6 Week Residency: Hall lodging provided for approximately 300 full-time students and artists enrolled in the art, music, dance, and theater programs. Dorm rooms are mainly all double occupancy, with a few triple occupancies. Students are housed together based on their age, gender and program. — 2 Week Residency: Dorm-style single rooms with shared bathrooms. Dorms and studios are not air conditioned.

Kilns: 1 gas kiln, 2 electric kilns and 1 raku kiln -cone 6 and up - no reduction firing-

Expenses:

  • 6 Week Residency:

    • Housing Costs: Residence hall fee of $660 and a security deposit of $100 (refundable)

    • Instructional Costs: Art residency or $3,155 and a studio fee of $250 (includes full instruction costs, fitness center membership, registration fee and gate pass to attend all events for free)

    • Meal Plan: $1,800 (All meals, 7 days a week)

  • 2 Week Residency:

    • $3,500 fee (meals, housing and instruction included)

Funding/Stipend: Full and partial scholarships are available for resident artists. Recipients must fulfill certain work obligations for a set number of hours a week. A large percentage of our residents receive significant financial aid to attend.

Workspace: An individual studio space

Responsibilities: If resident is a recipient of a full or partial scholarships, resident must fulfill certain work obligations for a set number of hours a week. Full financial assistance requires 10 hours/week of work trade.
