1 — Small test electric kiln

Funding/Stipend: Clay, glazes, and firing is provided within reason
Workspace: A 329 sq. ft. (14’ wide x 23.5’ long) private studio with locking door, located across the hall from the Ceramics Area. This studio is just steps from the main studio and there is a sink, large window, desk, work table and counters
Responsibilities: IU Southeast is looking for someone who can be an active presence in the Ceramics studio and work alongside the other faculty and students in out program.
Teach one beginning ceramics course and one 3D Design course each semester, as well as technician duties for 6 hours/week (in exchange for teaching a third class)
Work in the studio as needed to help with the basic operations of the IU Southeast Ceramics area
Encouraged to engage themselves with the work the post-baccalaureate students are making
