Location: Saugatuck, MI
Length: 3 Residency options: Summer Residency - 3 weeks - (May 28-June 17) (June 18-July 8) (July 10-29) (July 30-August 19) — Hybrid Residency/Workshop “Longform” - 3 weeks - September 11-October 8
Housing: Summer Residency: Private room in one of the campus cabins — “Longform”: Private room in one of the dorms
Kilns: Several electric kilns, a small test kiln, a gas fired car kiln, sawdust and raku capabilities and wood kiln
Expenses: Summer Residency: None — “Longform”: $5,750 fee + materials
Funding/Stipend: Summer Residency: 3 free meals/day — “Longform”: 3 free meals/day; full and partial scholarships available
Workspace: Summer Residency: Private Studio — “Longform”: mix of shared and private, raw studios
Responsibilities: None
Number of Residents: Summer Residency: 12 total; 3 per session — “Longform”: 20 residents

Access to visiting artist and faculty for studio visits
Evening artist lectures and opportunities to share work through slide presentations, readings, etc.
Self directed studio practice and day to day activity
”Longform” Residency:
Work with two core faculty to have continued conversations, reading groups, and shared experiences as a cohort
Discipline specific and conceptual workshops to introduce artists to new skills, ideas and materials, and learn from visiting artist every week
Opportunity for informal critiques among resident cohort
Artists benefit from a coming together for high level of community focus
Day to day is more directed and scheduled to be a more “programmed experience”
