Location: Pomona, CA
Length: Short Term: 6 months — Long Term: 1 year - July-June / September-August
Housing: Free for long term; none for short term (Future plans are for AMOCA to offer a housing stipend to cover all housing costs and residents find their own accommodations)
Kilns: 5 Electric kilns, 4 Gas kilns, 1 Soda kiln, and 1 Salt kiln (very large sized gas kilns, excellent for large sculptures)
Expenses: None
Funding/Stipend:
$100/week living, materials and firing stipend
Free firings and Laguna clay
Workspace: Semi-private studio space
Responsibilities: Expected to teach classes and workshops, sell work in gallery shop, attend workshops, give two artist lectures, attend museum openings, load and fire own work, and participate in studio visits with touring guests around AMOCA
Number of Residents: 2 long term residents and 1 short term resident at a time
