Funding/Stipend: $60/hr for 2-3 hr/wk instructional class time and $15/class for prep time; $200 for participation of end-of-year exhibit; Professional development sessions will be compensated at $20/hr; library-approved, non-toxic teaching supplies with be provided

Responsibilities: Teach high-quality, after-school art classes to children 4-18 at assigned local public libraries one 2-3 hour long classes/wk and attend a series of paid training and professional development workshops throughout the year

Additional Opportunities: Utilize library resources to develop a new body of work and research, take part in a professionally curated resident group exhibition featuring works created by all of the residents for the city or region during the program year, panel discussions, professional development, art-world professional consultants and local meet-ups with your city's resident artist cohort and program director
