Length: Long Term: 6 months (This residency is specifically offered to black emerging ceramic artists)

Expenses: Additional clay and materials past the $250 stipend must be bought at $25 a bag

Funding/Stipend:

• $250 worth of clay and materials provided

• 6 month membership (valued at $1055) with resources at both their Potero and SoMa studios

Workspace: *

Responsibilities: Residents will assist in Clayroom’s member workshops and studio functions at least 2 hours/week

Additional Opportunities:

• Receive mentorship and instructor training

• At the end of residency, Clayroom will host an exhibition to showcase work completed by the artist in residence where they will provide an artist talk

• Attend select classes (valued at $355)
