Location: Reading, PA

Length: Short Term - 10 weeks - June 5-August 11

Housing: Fully funded, shared housing with private bedroom. Fully furnished and located across the street within walking distance of the Goggleworks campus. Parking provided.

Kilns: 1 car gas kiln, 3 electric barrel kilns and 2 raku kilns

Expenses: Clay at cost

Funding/Stipend: Free firings and raw glaze materials within reason and a $2,500 stipend for travel, living and material expenses

Workspace: Shared private resident artist workspace in the neighboring building of the ceramic studio. Residents may also use the communal ceramic studio

Responsibilities: Participation in GoggleWorks studio community, complete works for culminating experience by August 4

Number of Residents: 3 resident artists across all media: at least 1 ceramic artist included

Additional Opportunities:

• Group resident exhibition

• Any resident can utilize any studio on the Goggleworks campus (Ceramics, glass hotshop, welding, heavy metals and metalsmithing, small metals and jewelry, cold glass, warm glass, flameworking, photography, printmaking, Fabrication lab and woodshop)

• Take one free class in any media

• Ceramic supply shop nearby
