About Me
I am a potter from Minnesota. I received a BFA in ceramics in the spring of 2020 from University of Wisconsin River Falls, where I fell in love with ceramics and the joy found in good community. During my time in River Falls, I worked for Northern Clay Center as a NCECA intern and seasonal sales and gallery assistant. In 2021-2022, I went to Virginia for an artist residency at Cub Creek Foundation where I expanded my knowledge of native clays and atmospheric firing. In 2022-2023, I traveled to the other end of the US to continue my work of functional pottery and figurative sculpture in the mountains of Northern California at Cobb Mountain Art and Ecology Project. I am now taking time to travel to various residencies around the US to build this website.
My goal for this website is to create a user friendly, convenient site artists can reference in their search for a ceramic artist residency that fits their needs.
